Superbowl Must Have Appetizers


      Its that time of year again.  Super Bowl 48 is happening this Sunday.  Bronco fans and Seahawk fans will all be finding a party, or just a seat, in front of the tube.  Make these times even yummier with some great appetizers to snack on during the game.  Whether you are watching with your family and children, with a group of friends, or just by yourself while you crochet, everyone is sure to enjoy these quick and easy appetizers!


Cheese ball with crackers

Ingredients:
  • (2) 8oz packages of cream cheese
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 package of dry ranch dressing mix
  • 2 cups of chopped pecans

Directions:
  1. Leave cream cheese out for about 15-30 minutes for it to soften and will be easier to mix. 
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and ranch mix.
  3. Form into a big ball.
  4. Roll the cheese ball into the chopped pecans so that it is completely covered. 
  5. Put on crackers and ENJOY!

Spinach Artichoke Dip with tortilla chips

Ingredients:

  • (1) 10 oz package frozen spinach (thawed)
  • (1) 15 oz can of artichokes (drained)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
  1. In a blender, blend the spinach, artichokes, sour cream and parmesan cheese.
  2. Pour into a spinach dip pan, or an 8x8 pan.  Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until cheese on top has browned up. 
  4. Serve with tortilla chips and ENJOY!



BBQ Weiners

Ingredients:
  • 2 packages of mini weiners
  • 12 oz of BBQ sauce
  • 8 oz grape jelly
Directions:
  1. Mix all ingredients into the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on high for 2-3 hours.
  3. Serve and ENJOY!
