Daily Goodie Box Review

I finally got a goodie box!  I have been commenting on their Facebook page for a couple months, and I finally lucked out and got one sent to me.  They said it would be about 3-4 weeks before I got it, which was fine by me, because I actually won one!  I feel like it took a while, but in all reality, a couple of weeks isn't that long.

Anyways, it came in the mail the other day, and it was like Christmas morning for me, checking it all out, excited about trying everything, all the while swatting away my children who were trying to grab it all from me.  LOL.

I wanted to quickly review each item that I got, with links to where you can find them if you are interested!  I will give my honest opinion, wether I liked the item or not, so no need to fear that I'm being swayed by getting it for free.

In no particular order, here are my reviews on these items: 

Black Forest Organic Gummy Bears - This was like a little slice of Heaven.  I love Gummy Bears already, but these were fantastic!  Perfect amount of chew and it ends with a sweet flavored finish.  I admit, I did hide these my kids, and enjoyed them myself, which may or may not be wrong of me!  This 4 oz bag is the perfect size to bring with you to the movies too!  Overall, the yellow block on the top of the bag saying "America's BEST TASTING Gummy Bear" is absolutely spot on! 

Pure Growth Organic Snack Mix -  This is a delicious salty and crunchy snack that the whole family loved!  I tried to just keep it for myself, but my kids saw that it had Paw Patrol on the front and told me that it HAD to be a kids snack because of it.  I reluctantly gave in, but was glad because I got their opinion as well.  Kids are very picky, so we know they are great critics when it comes to food!  My two youngest children (2, 5) loved this snack mix, and was upset when it was all gone.  Their favorites seemed to be the pretzles and the breadstick things, but really, then scarfed down the entire bag!

Ginger Honey Crystals - I have to be honest.  This one is just not for me.  I don't normally like tea, and ginger flavored things are hit and miss on my taste buds.  I went into it with an open mind though, and came out just not liking it at all.  The ginger taste is almost spicy, like a hint of a pepper taste.  I tried it hot, but I don't think I'd like it cold either.  

Vitabath Hevenly Coconut Cream Body Wash - I LOVED this body wash!  It smells absolutely amazing, and it lathers so nicely.  You only need a little bit per wash, which is great because the bottle will last longer. It does not make a big deal to me, but I know some people will love that it is also sulfate and paraben free!  My skin is moisturized and soft even hours after I've used it, and I can still smell the coconut on my skin.  I will definitely buy some more of this when my sample bottle runs out! 

biPro Protein Water - This really tastes like any other flavored water out there, but this one has 20 grams of protein! I was excited to have it after one of my workouts, instead of just having a lot of water, I figured having some protein water would be great on my muscles.  The berry flavor is great, and there is no weird after taste.  Although this water does have 90 calories (for the whole bottle) it has 0 grams of carbs, sugar, and fat!  I will definitely get this one in the future

Crown Maple Syrup - Usually on the weekends, I will make pancakes or waffles at least one day for my family.  I was excited to try this syrup out, because I'm used to just getting the generic, low calorie syrup from the store.  Crown Maple Syrup definitely made my waffles infinitely better than they normally are.  I really enjoyed the subtle sweetness and am excited to use it again!  

Better Than Coffee Dark Chocolate and Mint Bar - This was the one I was most excited to try!  I mean...it's coffee...in a bar form!  The taste was like a big punch in the mouth.  LOL  It's like eating straight coffee beans, with a hint of mint.  I do love the flavor of coffee, so I liked it, but if your not a fan of the coffee bean flavor, it might not be for you.  The hint of chocolate and mint was tasty, but I wish it was a little stronger.  If you are looking for something to give you caffeine though, and don't have to drink, I highly recommend this one.  I definitely feel like I just drank a cup of coffee so it does it's job!  At only 110 calories, 3 grams of sugar, 5 grams of protein, 100mg of caffeine (same as a cup of coffee), this plant based, natural, caffeine, energy bar is a great option! 

Goddess Garden Erase the Day - I'm always looking for a great end of the day cleaner, so I was excited to try this product as well.  I was able to use it a few times and every time I loved it!  It left my face feeling clean and smooth.  Even after I took a shower the next mornings, I could still notice a difference.  Just to see how well it would work, I gently rubbed some over my eyes also to see if it would get my mascara off, because I hate those darn makeup wipes, and it did! I was very impressed with this product for sure.  

Tiger Balm Ultra Strength - I have diagnosed arthritis in my knee (at 34 mind you - - I'm too young for this!!!).  I regularly work out and my knee is sore afterwards (all worth the pain in the end though), so I wanted to see how this really worked on my knee.  It works just as good as tylenol, if not better and I was very pleased.  A little bit goes a long way also.  As for the smell, it had a slight medicinal smell, but nothing like the Icy Hot smell I would always smell on my basketball coach!  Actually this smell is actually pretty pleasant!
