The Photo Props I WISH I Made

I recently wrote a post about the newborn outfits and patterns I used for my son 5 years ago when he was a baby.  You can see that post here.  When I had my first child, I hadn't crocheted in 10 years, since I was 15, and then when I had my second child I had only recently retaught myself how to crochet.  Therefore, I only made photo prop outfits for my son.  I wish I had done it for my daughters, because there are so many cute outfits out there. There will be no more babies in my future, but I thought it would be fun to collect a list of cute outfits.  Hey, if I have any friends or family who want one, I'll have place to start myself!

 Basketball Outfit
Now I know there is no way of telling what your child will be into later in life, but if I had known how much basketball would be part of my oldest's life, I would have loved to make this for her.  She is a fantastic player, and loves all things basketball.  Not only is this set adorable, it would've fit her personality to a T.

Well we didn't name my second daughter Sunflower, but we did name her "Lilly".  The name fits her well, because she just reminds me of a flower, bright, happy, and always full of life!  Anyway, as obnoxious as this outfit it, I think its adorable!  HAHA, when else are you going to be able to put something like this on your kid?!?!

This is just plain cute.  I love ice cream, (it's probably one of my biggest weaknesses) so I had to put this one on here. You could even make it boyish by doing a mint, blueberry combo.  While that sounds pretty disgusting, the colors would be great together!

I have a Yoda hat I make with a lightsaber, but adding the robe to this outfit is pure genius.

This outfit is too cute.  From the helmet, right down to the sandals, there are so many amazing details.  I would love to make this one for a little baby!

This one is a little season specific but it's too cute.  I love the look of the hay coming out of the hat and pants.  And while we're talking about the pants, how awesome are those overalls?!?!

This reminds me of those crocheted elephant rugs that you see around.  This is HUGE, but I think it's a statement piece.  What a beautiful picture this photo outfit creates.

Whoever knows me knows that Christmas time is my favorite time of year.  Everyone's so happy, the towns are lit up and our homes are full of love, (and Christmas decorations!).  If I had a baby during Christmas time, I would have definitely done this.  What better gift could you get, then a beautiful baby in a stocking!

Anyways, these are just the main ones that I saw that I wish I would've done for my children.  Maybe years and years (and years) from now, when my own kids have kids, they'll want me to make some of these for them.  But like I said, thats YEARS away.
